I'm slowly getting the hang of what I need to change and how this thing needs to be set up. Question: Since I have an MKS Gen 1.4, do I need to change the defined motherboard to BOARD_MKS_13 or do I need to leave it as BOARD_RAMPS_13_EFB? Problem the third: nothing on the LCD screen. Something to do with not sensing the endstops right, possibly? Further, neither of them will go backwards to 0. The bed stepper moves at about the right speed, but the X-axis one just kind of jutters and won't move. Problem the second: Playing off of the first, none of the motors will go backwards. Clicking 1 in pronterface takes them up a good inch. ![]() Problem the first: my Z-axis motors are WAY too fast. Here's the problems that I have right now. Updated to the latest Marlin firmware (the old board came pre-configured, so I didn't have to do any alteration on the front-end) and have begun fine-tuning and setting everything like it's supposed to be. Got everything hooked up and double-checked everything. Instead of screwing around with HICTOP's customer support, I bought an MKS Gen 1.4 board to replace the MKS Base 1.4 that came with it (the base was an all-in-one and ended up blowing both extruder drivers during operation - couldn't replace them). ![]()
